The NTPA has identified four main areas of business.

Housing - with a specific agreement surrounding housing and an ongoing upgrade program creating continued interest and queries.

Industrial - dealing with all aspects of members conditions of service.

Legal - (members only) dealing with disciplinary and criminal matters involving members.

Welfare - (members only) looking after members welfare and assisting in work health matters.
