2. Effective engagement through targeted communication

  • Identify key stakeholders
  • Develop a targeted Comms strategy for all stakeholders
  • Explore communication options, use evidence base, cost/benefit, determine appropriate strategy
  • Proactive communications
  • Education of Executive on tools, strategies, analytics

3. Maintain financial stability

  • Identify comfortable cash revenue ($2M)
  • Seek external advice
  • Implement strategies to maintain or grow
  • Identify and prioritise expenditure in line with strategic goals
  • Review financial policy and low risk investment strategy
  • Explore alternate income streams
  • Develop Foelsche Street development schedule

4. Continuously improve our governance practices

  • Undertake a complete review of our rules and policies
  • Structured approach to Executive and Committees (calendar, frequency, content etc)
  • Review President/CEO position/Board Evaluation
  • Undertake regular Executive Self-Assessment
  • Develop Operation Plan/Procedure Manual for systems of work
  • Create an internal WHS Framework
  • Monitor progress of Strategic Plan implementation

5. Enhance the effectiveness of our Association

  • Continue to develop political relationships
  • Provide staff access to Professional Development
  • Ongoing skill development of Executive and Delegates
  • Review need for an additional Field Officer in context of future direction and needs
  • Ongoing review of staff requirements
  • Progress database and technology modernisation
